I I started doing real estate in 1980. Before that, I worked in various jobs, from fastener sales for the State of Colorado to bank telling, and I even did some Volkswagen engine overhaul and repair work. Though I chose a different path, those jobs taught me how to have patience with people, which is a lesson I carry with me to this day.
Over the years, I've held positions on various PPAR (Pikes Peak Association of Realtors) committees, including Chairman of Professional Standards and Ethics; and have been President, President Elect, and Governor of the Women's Council of Realtors (WCR) at various times on both State and Local levels. I also hold the Leadership Training Graduate (LTG) Designation and am a member of the Council of Residential Specialist (CRS).
I've lived all over the country before settling in Colorado, and even spent some time overseas in Guam and Okinawa. I've also raised three wonderful daughters, which is a career in its own right! I love to golf, and have retired from being involved in community organizations, as my personal motto is "Let the Younger Ones Move Up."
As a Realtor, I think the most important thing I can do for my customers is LISTEN TO WHAT THEY WANT! I will never pressure my customers into doing something they're not comfortable with, and I always do my best to meet their needs and desires.
